William Darrell Collins Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William Darrell Collins, 64, of Evansville, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born March 12, 1957 in Evansville to the late Blanche Marie (Hawkins) and Lewis Ray Collins. Darrell retired from A. Schulman after 40 years where he worked as a machine operator. He was a member of the Boys Club. Darrell loved working with his hands and bowling and his favorite pastime was attending auctions. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ethel (Camp) Collins; son, Andrew Collins; daughter, Crystal Collins; brothers, Kenneth (Darla) Collins, Ricky Collins and Doug Collins; sister, Vicki (Frank) Fischer; grandchildren, Kelsey (Gary) Jackson, Breaunna (Evan) Varden, Noah (Kylie) Jones, Logan Collins and Blake Collins; great grandchildren, Hazel, Emmitt and Mateo. In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his son, Joey Collins. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 First Ave., Evansville. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Tim Garrett officiating.
