Stacia L. Quintero Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Stacia L. Quintero, 55, of Evansville, IN, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. She was born August 21, 1966 in Evansville to Pete Rupp and the late Mary Beth (Weber) Kennedy. Stacia was a graduate of Mater Dei High School and obtained her Master’s degree in education from Grand Canyon University. She taught English for second language learners at Lodge Elementary School. She was kind, warm, generous, patient, and steadfast. Stacia was love personified and was always looking for the good in others. She was a bright, guiding light who could comfort you with a single hug. Stacia was an avid lover of music, butterflies, cardinals, and all animals. She fiercely loved her family and was strong in her faith in God. Stacia was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, teacher, and friend. She will be dearly missed by many, but we take comfort she is in the embrace of the God she so loved. Stacia is survived by her husband, Vico Quintero of 37 years; daughters, Alexa and Adriana Quintero; father and step-mother, Pete and Tina Rupp; sisters, Christina (Jai) Tucker and Melissa (Andrew) Zirkelbach; brothers, Heath Rupp, Chad (Sara) Rupp, and William (Danielle) Cook; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stacia is preceded by her mother, Mary Beth Kennedy; maternal grandparents, William and Carson Weber; paternal grandparents Joseph and Imogene Rupp; step-grandmother, Helen Higdon; several uncles and aunts. The visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 First Ave. Funeral Service will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Father David Nunning officiating.
