Sandra Kempf, 79, of Evansville passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at North Park Nursing Center. She was born in Evansville, IN, on May 26, 1941 to the late Lester and Gertrude (Spencer) Scott. Sandra attended First Southern Baptist, an avid reader and enjoyed country music. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sandra is survived by her husband Thomas Kempf, sons; Rick (Mary) Mayes and Scott (finance Mary Davis) Mayes, stepchildren; Tom Kempf, Jr. (Debbie), Dave Kempf (Tammy), Susie martin (Kerry), Kim Patterson, Ben Kempf (Gayla), Dan Kempf (Mary), Steve Kempf (Marji), Linda Conway (Clark), Billy Joe Nordhaus, grandchildren; Amber Lynn Mayes, Ricky Mayes, Joseph Mayes, numerous step grandchildren and great children and sister, Barbara Kissel. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Arnold Lee Mayes, second husband William Nordhaus, step son, Jeff Kempf, sister Gloria Dean Turpin. Visitation will be Tuesday February 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel 626 N. First Avenue, Evansville, IN 47710, with a service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverends Joseph Mayes and David Cullison officiating.
