Paul W. Lamberg, 69, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his home. He was born May 30, 1952 in Evansville, to the late William Lamberg and the late Betty J. (Willett) Flemming. Paul served in the United States Navy and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. Paul worked as a nurse in the Emergency room at Deaconess Hospital. Paul was a member of the Catholic faith. Paul is survived by his husband of 34 years, Mark Boren; mother-in-law, Linda Boren; brothers-in-law, Steve Boren and family and Mike Boren and family; also many special nieces and nephews, close friends, and bartenders at Rick’s Sports Bar. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Alonzo Boren, Jr. whom he hopes to be reunited with in heaven. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
