Mary V. Newboles Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mary V. Newboles, 100, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Bethel Manor. She was born May 29, 1921 in Evansville to the late Alice (Krepps) and Henry J. Moers. Mary was a member of Christ the King and St. Mary’s Catholic Church for many years and a former member of St. Mary’s Medical Auxiliary (Pink Lady) and Little Sisters Auxiliary. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who truly enjoyed spending time with all generations of her family. Mary was proud to be a part of the Greatest Generation. She is survived by her daughters, Anne Laughlin and Jane (Steve) Wessel; son, William Newboles; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband in 1990, F. Allen Newboles; sisters, Dorothy Buchenberger, Lillian Woerz and Gertrude Riordan; brother, Joseph Moers; son-in-law, Michael Laughlin; daughter-in-law, Lana Newboles; and grandson, James Michael Laughlin. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church 704 N. First Ave., Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Stephen Lintzenich officiating. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.
