M. Hazel Crocker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

M. Hazel Crocker, 84, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. She was born May 23, 1937 in Trigg County, KY to the late Owen and Mary Ann (Sherbut) Swatzell. Hazel worked as a lab technician at General Electric and retired after 24 years. She was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church and VFW Auxiliary. She was a doll enthusiast. Hazel enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets. Hazel is survived by her son, Robert Crocker and daughter, Marla (David) Debes, both of Evansville; sisters, Jeanette Hargis of Trigg County, Kentucky and Mary Ellen Cunningham of Evansville; granddaughters, Crystal Foster and Mary Conover; six great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Marland Crocker in 2014. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021 at the funeral home with Reverend Rod Hoschouer and Donald Hargis officiating.
