Lisa Gorman

March 12, 1963 - April 19, 2022

Lisa Gorman, 59, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Park Terrace Nursing Home. Even though she is no longer among the living, she loved life, cherished her close friends and family, and did not want to be forgotten. Lisa wants all individuals that knew her to “raise a glass” and remember who she was honoring her memory. She was born March 12, 1963 in Evansville, IN to the late Roberta (Hartz) and Herbert K. Gorman, Sr. Lisa graduated from Central High School in 1981. She was a devoted football fan, following Peyton Manning’s career from the Colts to the Broncos. Lisa liked watching NASCAR and rooting for Jimmy Johnson. One of her highlights for additional entertainment was watching her favorite television shows especially Yellow Stone where she would not miss an episode and would not allow any interruptions during “her show” (in her terms). She was an Elvis Presley aficionado and considered herself a huge admirer of “The King!”. Lisa was exceptionally detail-oriented and was spectacular at making her adult coloring books, especially the landscape scenes, appear like masterpieces of art. She was an avid cook and delighted in preparing meals for her friends and family. She also loved surprising co-works and family members with their preferred special desserts on birthdays and holidays. Lisa’s pride was her job at Western Ribeye & Ribs, taking immaculate care of the salad bar. She considered the staff at Western Ribeye her second family. Lisa is survived by her sister, Connie Gorman; brother, Herbert Gorman, Jr.; and sister, Kristi Gorman. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Roberta (Hartz) and Herbert K. Gorman, Sr. There will be no visitation or services per Lisa’s request. Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Avenue, Evansville, IN 47710 is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue, 1417 N. Stockwell Road, Evansville, IN 47715. Condolences may be made online at www.ziemerfuneralhome.com.
