LeRoy Marvin Beilke

July 15, 1928 - November 30, 2020

LeRoy Marvin Beilke, 92, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born July 15, 1928 in Marathon County, Wisconsin, to the late Harris and Esther (Gruening) Beilke. LeRoy retired after working 32 years at Bucyrus Erie before becoming a training consultant at Alcoa. He was a former member of Concordia Lutheran Church and an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, serving on many committees. LeRoy enjoyed bowling and playing cards, especially Clabber. Leroy is survived by his wife, who he would have been married to for 68 years on December 6, 2020, Alice (Katczka) Beilke; daughters, Phyllis (Wayne) Ripplemeier and Judith Bell; son, Phillip (Melissa DelBalzo) Beilke; son-in-law, Paul Porozski; grandchildren, Joshua Childers, Candice Childers, Matthew Childers, and Lauren Covell; three great grandchildren; sisters, Joan (Ed) Cohen and Delores Wendorf; and brother, Richard (Do) Beilke; various nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, LeRoy was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Porozski; son-in-law, Marty Bell; brother, Gerald Beilke; and brother-in-law, August Wendorf. Due to the current pandemic, the services will be private for immediate family only. The services will be livestreaming on the Ziemer Funeral Home and Cremation Services’ Facebook page at 9:40 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2020. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum.
