Karen (Maglaris) Egan

December 21, 1950 - February 22, 2022

Karen (Maglaris) Egan, 71, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. She was born December 21, 1950 in Evansville, IN to the late Nick and Valeria (Schnutte) Maglaris. Karen loved horses and loved all of her four-legged babies just like her children. She went to college at Sullins University. Karen worked with her husband and helped out with their mobile grooming service, “Dogs are Kids Too”. Karen loved trivia and loved watching Jeopardy. She was very smart and would always play with her family who said, “She would beat us every time.” Karen is survived by her son Nick (Diana) Egan; grandchildren, Elissa (Blake) Howell, Hannah Keown, December (Evan), Taya and Kalob Egan, and Heather Scott; great grandchildren, Sebastian, Hogan, Anderson and Benson Howell, Gage and Everly Scott. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Richard Egan. Family is having private services. Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S.
