Jessica M. Robinson

Jessica M. Robinson, 35, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. She was born June 13, 1986 in Evansville to Elizabeth “Beth” (Van Gordon) Wargel and the late Jerry Robinson. Jessica was a graduate of Reitz High School in 2004. She also graduated from Roger’s Academy of Hair Design and Ross Medical Education Center. Jessica worked as a hairstylist and dental assistant. She was a wonderful cook and loved watching the cooking channels on television. Jessica also enjoyed crafts, drawing, painting and decorating. She was a Jeep enthusiast and liked going on Poker Runs and Jeep rides. Jessica is survived by her parents, Elizabeth “Beth” and Steven Wargel and Julie Robinson; daughter, Jasmine Gibson; grandmother, Mamie Robinson; siblings, April Robinson, Sarah (Jamon) Tapp, Zachery Wargel, Heather (Jeff) Murrell and Kelsey Falls; aunts, Tammy Ubelhor, Donna Van Winkle, Cheryl Harsh and Diane Kiesel; uncles, Jeff (Emily) Van Gordon and Keith Wargel; nephews, Mason, Rylan and soon to be born, Carter; cousins; and faithful companion, Cash. In addition to her father, Jerry Robinson, Jessica was preceded in death by her brother, Joshua Wargel; grandparents, Marie and Richard Van Gordon, Charlie Robinson and Ben and Angie Wargel; uncle, Jason Van Gordon; and aunt, Brenda Will. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the funeral home with Father Tom Kessler officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
