Grant Dennison

January 27, 2006 - May 9, 2022

Grant Dennison passed away on the morning of May 9th after a year-long fight with cancer. Grant was a sophomore at North High School. He was a selfless, caring young man who was always concerned for the feelings and needs of others before his own. He touched the lives of many and inspired those who knew him with his strength, courage, kindness, sense of humor, and eternal optimism. Grant was dearly loved by his family and friends, will always be in their hearts, and will forever have their gratitude for making their world a better place in which to live. Grant enjoyed PC Gaming, video games, anime, manga, YouTube, cubing and spending time with family and friends. Grant is survived by his father, Daniel Dennison of Evansville; sister, Paige Dennison of Evansville; brother, Taylor Trapp of Sioux Falls, SD; grandmother, Sherel Dennison of Evansville; grandfather, Bill (Theresa) Dennison of Evansville and uncle, David Dennison of Tennyson. Grant is preceded in death by his grandfather, Lennis Muth of Sioux Falls, SD; and uncle, Rick Muth of Humboldt, SD. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Avenue, Evansville, IN 47710 is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on Grant’s behalf to Granted, 4445 Commerce St., Suite 108, Evansville, IN 47710 to support children with life-threatening and terminal illnesses and their families. Special thanks to the physicians and nurses at Riley Hospital for Children, the nursing staff at Deaconess Gateway pediatrics, Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, and Granted. Condolences may be made online at www.ziemerfuneralhome.com.
