Fredrick D. Hawkins

June 25, 1951 - April 2, 2022

Fredrick D. Hawkins, 70, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Fred was born June 25, 1951 in Evansville, to the late Charles Warren and Doris (Luther) Hawkins. Fred was the owner and operator of Fred Hawkins Painting. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Fred served as Past President of the Evansville Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Fred is survived by his wife, Diana Monyhan Hawkins; son, Jason (Jennifer) Monyhan of Roswell, GA; granddaughter, Sophia Monyhan of Georgia; sister, Linda (Trey) Moore of Newburgh; brother, Steven (Shelly) Hawkins of Hawaii; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his daughter, Jona Monyhan. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Avenue. Visitation will continue from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the funeral home. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Father Jason Gries officiating.
