Eleanor C. Pirnat 91, of Newburgh, IN passed away Saturday, February 13, at her home surrounded by her family. Eleanor was born in Evansville on June 1, 1929 to the late Edwin and Frances (Niemer) Jent. Eleanor was formerly employed with Mead Johnson & Co. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Eleanor loved her family and enjoyed knitting and reading. She is survived by her husband Thomas F. of 74 years, sons; Michael T. (Caryl) Pirnat of Indianapolis, IN, Daniel J. (Betty) Pirnat, Brian (Kathryn) Pirnat and Thomas P. (Michelle) Pirnat all of Evansville, grandchildren; Jacquelyn Bach, Amy Samples, Daniel Pirnat Jr., Eric Nathan, Zachary and Dylan Pirnat, and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson; Joseph Ryan Pirnat, brother; Donald Jent, and sister; Wilma Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 625 Frame Road, Newburgh, IN 47630, with Fr. Dusty Burns officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
