Donald L. Kostelny

Donald L. Kostelny, 91, of Newburgh, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Home in Evansville. He was born March 4, 1929 in Ironwood, Michigan, to the late Louis and Stephanie (Arasim) Kostelny. Don graduated from Ironwood High School in 1947, and spent 2 years in the Merchant Marines and 4 years in the Air Force, during the Korean War. Don was a pharmacist in the Air Force and managed drug stores in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also managed several other retail stores before his retirement. Don is a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the American Legion. Donald is survived by his wife, Anabel (Lee) Kostelny; daughters, Kristine (Andy) Chandler, Karen (Mike) Greene; sons, Daniel (Kim) Kostelny, Dale (Elizabeth) Kostelny; grandchildren, Jason (Misti) Chandler, Samantha Chandler, and Cody Greene; great-grandson, Lucas Chandler. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Kichak. There will be no visitation or services at this time. Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel is handling arrangements.
