Diana "Dijie" (Goetz) Duvall

November 8, 1950 - March 19, 2021

Diana “Dijie” (Goetz) Duvall, 70, of Evansville, passed away March 19, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 8, 1950 in Evansville, to the late Edward Shirl and Doris (Bowen) Goetz. Dijie was a 1968 graduate of Rex Mundi High School. She retired from Castle High School as a Program Assistant. She formerly worked at Tri-State AERO and Welborn Clinic. Dijie was a lifelong member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She was an avid golfer and member of multiple golf clubs. She enjoyed playing pickle ball at the YMCA, as well as playing cards with her friends. Dijie was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. Dijie is survived by her husband, Dennis M. Duvall; children, Robbie (Debbie) Miller and Ike (Janell) Miller, both of Evansville, Jill Cross, of Indianapolis, Jeffrey (Amy) Duvall, of Evansville, and Brandon (Tammy) Duvall, of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Paige, Connor, Anna, Caroline, Bronxton, Tyler, Maddie, Will, Marley, Aidan, and Abraham; sisters, Karen (Steve) Kahre and Jan (Tom) Barnes; brother, Rick (Trish) Goetz, all of Evansville; nieces and nephews; and a special thanks to the Miller family for their prayers and comfort. In addition to her parents, Dijie was preceded in death by her dearest lifelong friend, Lynn Duvall. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Avenue. Funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Sean Esterline officiating. The funeral service will be livestreamed on the Ziemer Funeral Home and Cremation Services’ Facebook page. Private burial will be at the Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 2532 Waterbridge Way, Evansville, IN 47710.
