Charles "Buddy" Lenfers

April 20, 1942 - February 23, 2022

Charles “Buddy” Lenfers, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital. Buddy was born on April 20, 1942. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Bud” and Ama Lee Lenfers and his brother, Lenny. Buddy graduated from Bosse High School in 1960. He went to work for Central Industries for 43 years retiring after having his heart transplant in 2004. Buddy married the love of his life, Beverly Daugherty in 1963. Together they had two children, a son Chad (Chris), and a daughter LeAndra, four grandchildren, Kristina, Corey (Adrianne), Natalie and Blake, and one great grandchild, MaKaylee. We have been blessed with what we call “The Group” which consists of Buddy and Karen Angel, Keith and Joan Derrington, Susie and Jerry Dills, Bob and Joyce Giolitto, Saundra and Lawrence Humm, and Jim and Rita Miller. The best friends anyone could ever have. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Masks will be required at the visitation and service. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
