Bernard L. Dubord, 92, of Evansville, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Evansville Protestant Home. He was born October 7, 1929 in Ishpeming, Michigan to the late Louis H. and Myrtle H. (Berg) Dubord. Bernard was a graduate of Memorial High School in 1948 and retired from Signal Deliveries Service in 1991 and was a member of the Teamsters Local 215. Bernard was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and was a volunteer shuttle driver for St. Mary’s. He and his wife, Mary, enjoyed traveling and spending their winters in Florida. Bernard is survived by his daughters, Debora Michelsen, Diane (Richard) DeJean, and Mary (Daniel) Hardesty; sons, Daniel (Vickie) Dubord, David (Cynthia) Dubord, Donald (Kristie) Dubord, and Joseph (Diane) Dubord; 19 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Marlis) Dubord; sister, Marie (Gary) Bell; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Mary Geraldine Dubord, in October 2021; son-in-law Thomas Michelsen; sister, Dorothy Zirkelbach; and 3 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh with Father Claude Burns officiating. The funeral Mass will be live streamed on the Ziemer Funeral Home and Cremation Services’ Facebook page starting 20 minutes prior to the service. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Road, Newburgh, IN 47630 or the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, 809 N.
