Anna B. Glaser, 95, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. She was born July 3, 1926 in Evansville to the late Joseph and Eleanor (Hartweck) Dewes. Anna graduated from Central High School in 1944. She worked at Servell, Republic and Bernardin Bottle Corporation before marrying Malcolm Glaser and becoming a homemaker. Anna was a life member of St. Joseph Church in the County and a member of the St. Ann’s Altar Society, PTA, and was active in the Summer Social. She was a member of T.O.P.S., Take Off Pounds Sensibly and K.O.P.S., Keep off Pounds Sensibly. Anna was a Charter member of Ozanam Family Shelter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Anna enjoyed watching cowboy movies and Judge Judy. Anna is survived by her children, Anthony (Tina) Glaser, Linda (Robert) Englert, Thomas (Sarah) Glaser and Theodore (Tamara) Glaser; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and 8 step-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm S. “Mac” Glaser; sisters, Mary Crouch and Patricia “BeBe” McCracken; and half-sister, Kathleen Woehler. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Avenue with a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in the County, 6202 W. St. Joseph Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the church with Father Gene Schroeder officiating. Masks will be required at the funeral home and the church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in the County, 6202 W.
